Intel Modular Server
With the Intel® Modular Server we offer you now at the RECT-Shop the technologic platform for an „IT centre in small format“ based on the Intel® Multi-Flex technology. With storage space, computing power and network infrastructure the Intel® Modular Server integrates the complex IT-environment in one system. So it offers the integral alternative solution to current IT-environments.
It supports up to six server compute modules and up to 7 TeraByte shared SAS hard disk storage, as well as two layer 2 gigabit ethernet-switch modules, one integrated SAN and one administrative module. So the Intel® Modular Server offers a flexible as well as a powerful and secure IT-solution for smaller and medium-sized companies.
The six compute modules are configurable each with up to two Intel® XEON™ of the 5500 series and support up to 96 GigaByte DDR3-RAM. The storage module administrate the hard disk storage at a RAID-array and allocate respectively the dedicated storage to the compute modules. For a fail-safe IT-solution, all active modules are constructed for redundancy at the Intel® Modular Server: up to four HotSwap power supplies, up to two storage controle modules, up to two ethernet-switch-modules as well as redundant fans.
The webbased user interface offers the complete control, administration and diagnostic of the Intel® Modular Server from the network.
